For me, beginning anything new is hard. I guess procrastination is part of my DNA. I actually started this blogging journey 2 years ago. But one roadblock after another came up, and being “a little bit” of a perfectionist and “more than a little bit” fearful of the computer, the whole process became a mountain and I put it on hold. My husband, Jack, who has a PhD in nuclear engineering and works with computers every day took the setting up of the blog as a personal project. He has been challenged by it, too.
But I had to begin somewhere. My goal for this blog is to share my curiosity of things that pop up in my life. For example, how does iTunes work so easily for my teenage children and it laughs at me? How do Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat work? We are remodeling our 1920’s Craftsman ourselves and we will visit that process from time to time. I am redoing and simplifying my garden spaces. Jack and I love to travel and I will take you along on the journeys. I love movies, books and music which I will share.
I subscribe to many dazzling blogs with bloggers that are AMAZING at what they do! I am in awe of them! I don’t pretend to be an expert at DIY, crafting, cooking, gardening or homemaking. But I want to learn to do those things better and to share that process with all of you. Maybe you can show me a few tricks along the way! But we will do it all together.
